Thankful For -

Lets start out with, Hi.. This is me Cykka Tron.. Or what ever works for you...On paper I'm a "White/Caucasian" citizens of America.. But in reality I have no idea what I am besides a human..

Now on with the blog!

This year I'm thankful for many things.. I'm thankful for so many people.. I'm thankful for my family no matter how crazy they are. I'm thankful for my wife because she's my best friend even when we fight.  I am thankful I am "white" on paper and that "my people" don't have to live with the history of pain that Natives and Blacks and even "Mexicans" live with. I'm thankful that my "white" history can't really be traced because it was drowned out by twists and lies. I am thankful I'll never know what it's like to be faced with racism daily. I am thankful that I recognize that I do have white privilege. I am thankful that I love my Native brothers and sisters and all POC. I am thankful I want to learn the history of this land and it's original inhabitants. I am thankful that I regret what we have done to our colored brothers and sisters. I am thankful I don't have to worry about whites running up calling me a "nigger", "chink", "spic" and other degrading words towards races.. I am thankful that I can be part of change that fights against these terms even though my "race" doesn't have to face these horrible slanderous words. I am thankful that I believe different then most people in my family. I am thankful that I believe that in all reality the American government should be ran by the First Americans and not a predominantly white system. I am thankful that I have made connections with so many people who feel the same way or just want change for the better via the internet. I am thankful for all those who read my blog. I am thankful that I don't have to suffer like those who live in the lower income parts of the cities, because I live in a rural area.. I am thankful that I can admit all these things. I am even thankful for those who take this the wrong way. I am thankful that I wish for peace and love and unity with all people. I am thankful that I want this blog to spark converse and maybe spark anger. I am thankful for those who are out on the battlegrounds I am thankful for those who are on the battlegrounds in our own country those promoting change and fighting for freedom.

Finally:

I am thankful I feel guilt for the wrong my people have done.

The "Slut"

So when I was about to write this blog about not slut shaming, I was getting caught up in the first word of the topic, something that I feel is hardly acknowledged. We support "sluts" and their decisions while everyone else dehumanizes them... but do we actually know what we're doing? Aren't we just perpetuating the stereotype that we hate? A slut isn't a type of person, it's a societal stereotype. By saying "we don't slut shame", we're saying there is someone to shame... the slut. But who is she? Anyone you want her to be really. Anyone you paint a slut in your mind is a slut in the real world. Essentially, that's what we revert to, isn't it? "I don't like to have threesomes, have multiple partners, do BDSM, take nude pictures or videos etc., and any woman who does must be loose - a total slut." Then we dismiss any pain she may be going through, degrade and dehumanize her and don't feel another thing about it because we're moral and she, in our eyes, is not. And a simple hashtag or verbal label is all that is needed to brand the woman you merely disagree with sexually as nothing but a low brow whore. Because that's all it is anyway, a personal opinion accepted by the majority. I'm (still) not about slut shaming, but I'm also not about dehumanizing women based on their personal sexual decisions. A woman making her own, consensual, sexual choices that you disagree with does not maker her a "slut", it makes her a human being, making choices... like everyone.

So with #HandsUpFriday photos I am seeing white people put #IllNeverHaveToDoThis...

I feel like we're underestimating #PoliceBrutality based on having #WhitePrivilege. #RacismInAmerica is clear and #Ferguson uncovered it for us who don't face it everyday, and I'm thankful for that. We need to #EndIt. Statistics show more #WhitePolice on #Black Civilian violence, I recognize that, and I'm #Disgusted by that.

#WhitePeople we can't rest on the color of our skin to be protected from #PoliceBrutality or act like it can't happen to us. The #corruption is in the system, in the insane power and immunity they receive. We need #Demilitarization of the police and accountability. #Race is a huge element of the #FergusonShooting and it brought it to light for those of us who didn't see it, thanks to #Activists and #IndependantMedia. But lets not forget that #PoliceBrutality in general as well as #OurRights that are being infringed upon needs major work. #OneAndAll need to come together, across lines of #Gender, #Age, and #Race, to #BeHeard and get #RealChange happening in ALL OF OUR CITIES.

If we don't build it who will?

   If we don't build this world how we want it, it will stay the same..The world doesn't change unless those who are living in it shape it the way they want. WE must stand up and fight for what we believe in even if others don't support it. Because if we don't who will? The big question is always "WHO WILL?"..The answer has always been simple US... WE THE PEOPLE!!
   
     It's funny to think back and remember being told one day your generation will run this country.. But they never told us it will be when we are in our late 40's and 50's that our votes actually count. The old out weigh the new, I know it sounds like I'm saying our votes or opinions don't matter but that's not what I'm saying at all. I believe we must change the elders views first if we want to change the world. If all we do is keep to our own clique or age group we wont solve anything. The elders run things right now and that's how it's going to be until they turn into our ancestors and are simple memories in history.

    But until then we must help them see the world how we want to see it. Don't do it in an aggressive way, but in a face to face sincere way that they can relate to. As hippie-ish as this sounds use Peace, Love, Unity to change their views. It's hard especially with the folks who are over 60, they lived in a different time and in their minds it hasn't changed too dramatically in the work force or in the real world but it truly has. We live this world daily we know how it works and how hard it truly can be in this day and age. Yes, they see the world has changed via the news.. But the mainstream media doesn't show the whole truth. We must open the minds of others but with out closing our own. Our elders and ancestors have a lot that they can teach us if we just listen and look to history. But remember don't become complacent, be vigilant learn and grow but keep on the path of change.

Robin Williams, Sad, sad way to go out. He made millions laugh. He even made millions cry. He helped mold someones career. He was flat out, wonderful. But maybe that kid who was being bullied or had no friends over the summer were nice and wonderful too. Maybe somewhere in the world while people have
only been talking about this one sad event, multiple have happened? I am sure there were more people we could have mourned but we just didnt take time to think about it because they werent in the public eye(please excuse the run-on sentence). But rest assured these other human beings made someone laugh and made someone cry, and was flat out wonderful. So to those people and to Mr. Robin Willaims, the world will miss you all and lets have a drink when i get up there with you. Assuming there is an "Up There"...

    So I was once big on the whole occupy thing, I went to Occupy Seattle (on accident) and fell in love with the idea. The idea was enough to have me hooked, I ended up going home and watching and connecting with people on livestream. I spoke to a lot of broadcasters tried helping set up a Occupy Everett, but in the end it failed to a point. A little has changed but not as much as we all wanted, the movement was washed and bleed by side movements and no leadership. It became a hipster haven that died with a morning sun and a nights rain. I then stopped caring about movements because the one I cared about most was so easily washed away and forgotten.. Not just forgotten but now looked down upon by so many calling it pointless. But I have been revived with the love for people by the Ferguson community, these people have spirit they have love.. They want justice and that's why I want to get back into writing about issues that truly matter in the world. The chants the marching the old the young they are fed up with the way they are being treated. I'm fed up as well, it's got to be horrible living how they have to live right now. The fear and the wondering if their child will be shot down just because of how they look. I can't say I understand that because I don't I'm a white guy from a small town. I didn't even know about racism for most of my life, but I see it alot now. I can't lie I've spoke ill of others too. I wish I could take back such things in this re-awaking but it's impossible so now I'm writing to you my readers to help these people in Ferguson in anyway you can! Make your voice heard, not just about Ferguson but about any abuse of power you see! About any racism not just against other races but against all HUMANITY! Don't sit and be blinded by mainstream media open up your browsers and find journalist that aren't sponsored by the powers to be. I'll even give you a link to some good livestream broadcasters! Originally this blog was nothing but a way to post interesting links and games that I found spread over the wide wasteland we call the interweb. But I have decided I want to make it more, I'll be posting not just interesting stuff I find about technology, gaming, free downloads ect.. But also political movements and other important news from around the world. Mind you this will all come with the Cykka Tron twist that the few loyal readers will all remember.
